About the event
The challenge with communicating scientific concepts lies in the complexity of the content to be discussed. How do we accurately simplify concepts being discussed, without changing its intended meaning? How do we combat the loss of confidence in science in the public, without changing the meaning behind research? Our panelists have varied backgrounds within the field of communication, and provide different perspectives on the challenges to science communication. The panelists include Dr. Tomasz Cecot, Dr. Scott Edmunds, Dr. Guo-li Ming and Dr. Christopher See.
